Theorbist Josep Maria Martí Duran is publishing an album that is accompanied by an essay of the philosopher Ramón Andrés. The theorbo is a really long plucked string instrument of the lute family and typically has 14 courses.
In this album he’s interpreting songs from the XVII and XVIII century. All the image is based on a 14 line divided grid and is inspired by the calligraphy notes that accompanied the music sheets from the same period.
