On the 10 of March, just a couple of days before the big moving to Barcelona, we had a goodbye beer with our dutchie besties in Amsterdam. What none of us knew that day is that corona would hit so horribly hard that we would still be here by now. It would be the last “normal” beer in a bar with friends until who knows when.
Rutger Paulusse was one of the last to leave that night and the last friend with whom I had a toast with. It’s been a while since we said we would like to collaborate together some day that when Goodtype and approached us to do one piece in the distance during confinement it felt just like the perfect time to make it. And voilà, we made a modular lettering made out of basic shapes, translucent and opaque materials and superposed shapes. A mix of antagonist elements that somehow fit together in a single piece.
